Position Summary

The Scheduler will be responsible for managing the intake process for our CalAIM services, ensuring that referrals are contacted promptly, screened for eligibility, and scheduled for intake appointments. Additional duties include answering the main phone lines, returning phone calls, and confirming appointments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Call referrals to initiate contact and provide information about our services.
  • Screen referrals for eligibility based on established criteria.
  • Schedule intake appointments for eligible referrals.
  • Answer main phone lines and address inquiries or direct calls to the appropriate department.
  • Confirm appointments with clients and provide necessary details for their scheduled intakes.
  • Return phone calls in a timely manner to ensure all inquiries are addressed promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all referrals, screenings, and appointments in electronic health record
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication and coordination.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in using scheduling and database software.
  • Excellent skills with navigating technology and electronic health records
