CalAIM Director

POSITION SUMMARY 

The CalAIM Services Director is responsible for the overall implementation and ongoing operations of CalAIM services including Enhanced Case Management and Community Supports including Housing Tenancy Services and Housing Navigation Services. The CalAIM services director is responsible for the direct management of unattached staff and coordinating the management of staff who are providing CalAIM services embedded within other programs. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: 

● Serve as the ECM Program Director per ECM guidelines 

● Manage staff who serve as the communication point for health plans, ensuring timely and accurate responses. Provide direct responses as needed. 

● Train and support staff in documentation and service delivery including CalAIM 

specific requirements, Trauma Informed Care, Housing First, and Harm Reduction 

● Present on programs in the community as requested 

● Execute a high level of proactive communication with Program Managers of 

embedded employees 

● Manage staff who review and submit all referrals to the appropriate health plan. 

Providing corrections as needed to ensure a high degree of accuracy in information 

submitted to health plans. 

● Review and approve all check requests for deposit assistance verifying all 

information. 

● Coordinate case reviews of all CalAIM clients, at least once per month, more 

frequently as needed. 

● Ensure monthly billing is submitted timely and accurately. 

● Ensure monthly reporting including staffing reports and other requested reports are submitted timely and accurately 

● Conduct routine audits of client files to ensure compliance with documentation 

standards. 

● Review monthly billing records and analyze for gaps, inconsistencies, and errors. 

● Purpose and implement procedures to correct identified gaps, inconsistencies, and 

errors. 

  • Review client assessments and care plans to ensure alignment with CalAIM requirements and health plan standards

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • 3 years of supervisory experience in a social services, healthcare, or housing-focused program.

  • 3 years of experience in CalAIM, ECM, and Community Support services.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

  • Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and program management software

  • Cleaning driving record
